Hashimoto Mayor using Comfort Women victims

Mayor Hashimoto, who is behind the outrageous remarks against the comfort women victims, have offered to meet with the Korean comfort women, but the victims declined. He claimed that comfort women were necessary, and all the other countries in the world had that policy. This remark stirred up a lot of controversy. The victims declined because they realized that Hashimoto is trying to use them in order to boost his publicity for his upcoming election. More than 68 NGOs around the world are criticizing Hashimoto's claims, and UN made a comment that Japanese Comfort Women policy is close to torture. UN also told Japan to strictly educate their people of historical truth.
