Borders Closed For Russians: World Tightens Entry Restrictions - UATV English
The Finnish Interior Ministry will prepare proposals to restrict entry from Russia. She noted that the number of illegal immigrants arriving from the Russian side without the necessary documents had recently increased. Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Finland has strictly tightened entry rules for Russian citizens. Since the end of 2022, Finland has banned entry of Russians on a Schengen short-term visa for tourism purposes, including transit to other EU countries. This autumn Russian citizens are not allowed to enter Finland by car, and since November 15th - even by bicycle.
