They're successfully keeping the US from arming a burgeoning democracy that's defending itself against a tyrant aggressor.

They fall for and then pass along Kremlin propaganda to rationalize their opposition to helping a valuable trade partner. If Putin wins, it will weaken all of Europe because Putin will be positioned to dominate oil and gas trade and will start looking to conquer more states -- Moldova and then Georgia next probably, but NATO-ally Estonia is on the short list. Pro-Russian Republicans aren't just taking bribes, they're fighting for a weaker Europe and a more dangerous world.
