Related: About this forumHistoric Decision: US Transfers Confiscated Russian Funds to Ukraine - UATV English
The USA will transfer about half a million dollars from the confiscated Russian funds to Ukraine. This was reported by the US Department of Justice. As the department explained, this became possible after the exposure of a network of illegal purchases of US equipment for the purpose of importing them to Russia. This is the first case of transferring confiscated Russian assets to Ukraine. Watch our news story to find out how the G7 countries continue to look for opportunities to help Kyiv receive compensation from Russia for the damage it has caused.
