... "scared" seems strange. I guess it's a subjective observation. Not sure about these stories... I recall some that implied Vlad was missing, in serious health danger, or already gone. There were videos that "showed" he was a double, or gravely ill. I didn't see enough to believe these stories.

Since the war started, the titles on these videos are always claiming Putin is over. It's over for the Russians. Putin betrayed by his inner circle. Putin in grave health. Russians annihilated. Putin should have been dead and the army obliterated about 300 times over if you believe these titles.

and besides, wishful thinking is helpful in the darkest of times~
