Will Israel support Republicans?

Here is an op-ed suggesting Democrats risk alienating Israel by pushing for a ceasefire and questioning Netanyahu's leadership. Maybe, but the real influence come from private organizations like AIPAC and the enormous amounts of money they can use to defeat candidates they see as not supportive of Israel. Another question: would voters in the United States follow Netanyahu's advice if he suggested voting for Trump?

1. Israel's leader is right wing and will 100% support repugs, Bibi and tsf are 2 birds of a feather.

Bibi wants to hurt Biden because he's trying to stop the genocide little murderer wants, while tsf supports it 100% and would support killing each and every Palestinian in that state.

2. I don't think so. Even the most adamant US supporter of Israel knows that

Netanyahu action, past and present, do not represent Israel's best interests. Like many other countries Israel's politics have been taken over by right-wing extremists. His autocratic and ideologically extreme behavior is not acceptable to the majority of people in the US.

It appears the Republicans see an opening now to woo Jewish voters by an alliance with the right-wing in Israel. Their pitch: If you back the Israeli right wing, you belong with the Republican right wing.
Will this strategy work? It could somewhat split the Jewish-American vote. But I don't see a wholesale defection. Like within all communities, opinions vary.

Is whether American Jewish Dems will vote for candidates who are hostile to Israel.

5. Vast majority of Jewish Americans: oppose Bibi, know difference between support for Israel vs. support for Bibi.

The truth is that any American Jew with a pulse knows that Bibi is by far the most efficient instigator of anti-Semitism existing in the world today. Their lives are getting worse because of him and will be further downgraded due to the hatred for Jews he and his actions continue to cause.

I do not think that many American Jews will support a party dominated by fundamentalist Christians who are trying to make Christian fundamentalism the law of the land via governmental enforcement, especially a party with a leader who dines with Nazis and surrounds himself with a bunch of Jew hating white nationalists!

Most American Jews do not like Bibi or his policies and view him as "Israel's Trump", and with all of the negatives listed above, including the constant assault by Republicans on the rights of those who are NOT Christian fundamentalists, Trump will not get the support of the vast majority of them.

Edited to emphasize: Most American Jews do NOT equate support or a lack of support for Bibi's policies with support or a lack of support for Israel in general. They know the difference.

Edited also to change "he" to "Trump".
