but would be more comfortable with civilian leadership of the components.

i am put in mind of the old "united arab republics" of egypt/syria/iraq or maybe the old "united states of central america." western corporations tend to not appreciate situations where the owners of resources have enough negotiating position to escape their influence.

time will tell, but i think we will have a bit of violence from that area continuing forward.
