Palestine is not without their Catholics! They're grouped under the "Nazrini" (Nazarene) banner, and some are assorted "orthodox" Catholics as opposed to "Roman" ones, but hey, close enough for government work.

There are Catholics in Israel, too, and a lot of them are what one would call "Arab Israelis."


They're a very small minority, but they're there.

when it says that recognition of the state of Palestibe will hurt the peace process when PM Netantahu has stated that there will be no Palestinian state. In addition the level of vitiol by new members of Netanyahu's coalition maje any peace process nothing more than a farce.

Israel should take note if this. If the Vatican can recognize Palestine then what will the world recognize in Israeli intransigence towards a peaceful solution?
