The new Sanhedrin movement an organization that seeks to restore rabbinical law in Israel provided support to the 11 right-wing extremists recently slapped with restraining orders, Ynet learned Monday.
"We are happy that you pose as an example and inspiration to religious judges and all of the loyal people of Israel," the movement wrote to the "hilltop youth" (a general term for radicals living in West Bank outposts).
The new Sanhedrin movement, which is popular among the hilltop youth, includes a group of rabbis from the religious-Zionist and the Haredi-Zionist sectors.
Even though it is not recognized by the Chief Rabbinate, the movement, which was founded in 2005, succeeded in drawing in many supporters among the Religious Zionists, particularly haredi Zionists.

What a lovely bunch of right wing morons.
But what does one expect when successive Israeli administrations have aided in the growth of these knuckle-draggers who support radical Israeli terror?
These nyuck-nyucks, and the right wing government that lets them grow, will be the undoing of Israel.

(58,724 posts)1. Imagine a country ruled by unelected right-wing religious leaders
Where religious rather than secular law was the law of the land on all matters.
Such a theocracy would be the bane of progressives everywhere, I would imagine.

Are sometimes praised here.
Thankfully the Jewish State is a secular state- despised for the last 2000 years.
"Lost support of the world? Losing support of the world? The undoing of Israel ? Etc etc".
What a joke to hear that ... It's never had any support and the same people who claim its "undoing " never believed in its "doing".
LOL

Dave, you really need a calender a calculator or somebody to give you a life line since Israel, the apartheid state, has only been around since the late 1940s.
