IDF demolishes third illegal West Bank outpost this week
Dismantling of structures in Mitzpe Avichai follows razing of Givat Arye and Gal Yossef; restraining order slapped against leader of outpost, banning him from West Bank.The Israeli Defense Forces demolished the illegal West Bank outpost Mitzpe Avichai near Kiryat Arba, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The outpost was established in 2007 in memory of Avichai Levy, who was shot by a terrorist that year. The same settlement was already evicted twice before in the past.
The outpost has been flourishing in the past year, with ten structures housing nine families being constructed.
Israeli security forces issued restraining orders against the outpost’s leader, Yaron Kaleb, earlier this week, banning his entrance to the West Bank.
