Obama to Netanyahu: 'Tough' decisions needed on peace

http://www.maannews.net/eng/ViewDetails.aspx?ID=678400

WASHINGTON (AFP) -- Israel needs to make some tough decisions in order to find peace with the Palestinians, US President Barack Obama warned Benjamin Netanyahu in talks at the White House on Monday.

But the prime minister insisted that Israel had already done its part for peace, while the Palestinians had not.

Israel and the Palestinians have been engaged in seven months of direct peace talks which are due to expire at the end of April, and decision time is at hand, Obama said.
---
Ignoring Obama's appeal, Netanyahu said the highest priority for Israel and the United States was not the peace process but preventing Iran from obtaining a military nuclear capacity.

POTUS Obama meets PM Netanyahu. Makes comments that Israel needs to make some tough choices. Israeli PM ignores POTUS Obama to do the Iran war dance.

POTUS Obama needs to make some tough choices WRT funding the belligerent apartheid state of Israel.

Settlers uproot 180 sapling near Qalqiliya

NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli settlers on Sunday uprooted over 180 olive saplings in the Kafr Qaddum village east of Qalqiliya, a Palestinian official said.

They belonged to villager Nathmi Obeid.

No, it's not really humorous. It's fucking sad that the 'Only Democracy in the Mideast' aka apartheid state allows its citizens to harass Palestinians...apparently without threat of arrest and in some instances under IDF protection.
