School canceled in South as Gaza rocket attacks continue

Over 100 rockets and mortar shells were fired into Israel from the Gaza Strip over the weekend and 15 Palestinians were killed after violence broke out Friday following Israel’s assassination of a top terrorist.

Due to the escalation in violence, the IDF Home Front command along with the heads of a number of local authorities in Israel’s south decided on Saturday night to cancel school in all towns and cities located between 7km to 40km from the Gaza Strip.
.
.
.
While most of the rockets fired from Gaza were short-range Kassams, some were long-range Grad-model Katyushas which succeded in hitting targets 40 km from the Gaza Strip. The short-range rockets were mostly fired by the PRC and the long-range rockets by Islamic Jihad.

The three Iron Dome batteries deployed in Ashdod, Ashkelon and Beersheba succeeded in intercepting 27 rockets fired from Gaza out of 30 that it tried to shoot down, marking a record-high interception rate of over 90 percent.

That doesn't rate as news anywhere outside of Israel, so it must not be happening.

Hamas targeted civilians, women, children -- the IDF targeted the shoooters.

You want to claim a moral equivalency? Again?

That's why there are 0 dead civilians and 16 terrorists killed, a feat that western forces have far more difficulty doing.

That's why Hamasniks and Islamic Jihadists hide among civilians by calling out for shields to come to terrorist targets in order to stop the IAF.

Are you disappointed that there are no dead Palestinian civilians?

Now you've built it up into 'an unharmed patient'. You've got some medical expertise that the doctors there and everyone else doesn't? Otherwise, it's just coming across as a particularly clumsy and ugly attempt to get some BS rolling...

Oh, I'm quite aware that there's some who rush at every opportunity to label just about any photo of Palestinians as a set-up. They'd be the first whining to high heaven if the tables were turned and people started labelling photos of injured or dead Israelis as set-ups. I even bet there'd be a thicker torrent of accusations of antisemitism flying round as well!

The more I look at it, the more suspicious it gets

Just a few things...

If those are EKG leads on the kids chest, they're in the wrong place -- one is on the base of the heart (over the aorta) the other over his right lung.

The patient has BOTH what appears to be an oro-pharyngeal airway (attached to the ambu bag) AND an oro-pharyngeal suction catheter. Unless he's just holding tubes in his mouth, it's going to get awfully crowded in that kid's throat.

If that is an automated BP cuff on his right arm, where are the leads? They should come from the bottom of the cuff to the monitor. Also, that's not a pediatric cuff (it's too large for him, coming past his elbow). Which means his BP will be reading much lower than actual.

No gloves on the "docs" -- with a trauma patient? What about chain of infection?

What is the guy in the background doing? Holding a bottle of saline? He's not preparing a bag or a push.

All the equipment seems to be turned off.

But I'm calling bullshit on what yr claiming because I've had EKG thingys on recently and they were in exactly the same place.

Sorry, but I find the habit some zealoted 'supporters' of Israel have of trying to make out that Palestinians are abject liars who invent everything to be a bit sickening. Especially since children have actually been killed in the conflict, and no amount of crap thrown by pro-Israeli zealots can make that fact go away...

If they've done it before, is it inconceivable that they'd do it again?
