It has recently come to our attention that the extremist organization Regavim has distributed to the foreign press an English version of the document they produced in November essentially supporting the governments position that the Bedouin of the Negev have no legitimate land claims and are taking over the Negev. We are therefore reissuing the English version of our response highlighting the inaccuracies upon which both the Israeli government and Regavim base their positions.

(45,850 posts)The support we got felt individualized and we were able to make real connections with the people at NBNs GoSouth program, which helped us tremendously in terms of networking and finding employment, she says. NBN also ran some small support groups for finding employment in the beginning, which was encouraging.
Living in the south is great. Its affordable down here, and life is quiet, simple and beautiful. Beer Sheva is a city with lots to offer in terms of culture, nightlife, youth groups and more, but is also is great place for kids, not too busy and rushed, no rat race here.
There are many possibilities for work in the south. For example the Negev is always in need of English teachers in elementary and high schools there, are even more than the rest of the country.
Last year, two of our new Olim were accepted immediately in teaching positions without a teachers license and they now have three years to qualify as teachers while they have their jobs, says Ravit Greenberg, NBNs Go South director. CAN WE SAY THIS??!?!
