(3,860 posts)Didn't they realize how that would resonate to a US audience, or didn't they care?
Either way it kind of gives their game away.

(25,699 posts)And there's no guarantee I am, this guys' English is clearly learned from someone who learned it as a second or third language... I think he's trying to explain to Blitzer that he was comparing Feiglin's writings, to the claims made against Jews. Or something to that effect. Between the language hurdles and the dude's evasiveness, any point he's trying to make is dashed.
Poor Wolf, having to sit through a bunch of evasive gibberish that never reaches a point.

(6,831 posts)No, I do not believe that.
It has nothing to do with what his first/second or third languages are.
"No" is a simple word.
This man could not bring himself to say that.

(25,699 posts)"No, I do not believe that" would be met with Wolf of course going "But you're saying it right here!" and then there's the go-around as Hamdan has to defend himself against being called a lair and all that. You don't become a spokesperson for an organization like hamas without knowing how to avoid traps like that.
So instead, he tried to skip that merry-go-round, and attempt to explain where he was coming from to say that.
Basically, either way he's in a weak position, and opted to go for offensive in the debate, rather than letting Wolf push him intgo a corner.

(6,831 posts)tried to deny it, he went off on tangents, changed the topic. But never even tried to address the question.
Which probably means he does believe it, or at least is willing to use that blood libel to incite hatred against all Jews.
