Israeli Hospital Treats Hamas Leader's Daughter

An Israeli hospital says it has treated the daughter of Hamas' top leader in the Gaza Strip weeks after a brutal war between Israel and the Islamic militant group.

Avi Shushan, a spokesman for Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital, said the daughter of Ismail Haniyeh was hospitalized for "a number of days" this month. He did not disclose what she was treated for.

A spokeswoman for the Israeli military confirmed the hospital stay. She spoke Sunday on condition of anonymity because she was not authorized to release the information otherwise. Hamas officials were not immediately available for comment.

Not everyone in Gaza has those perks.

And being treated probably by a Jewish doctor too .

You're right, not everyone in Gaza has those perks. Most of them live in ruin and destitution. But for those few who can pay for it, they can skip through the fences and checkpoints and get good treatment. Those who can't afford it, well, they can die of their shrapnel wounds in sewage spillover from the bombed water treatment plant.
