How classy of the UN.
As The Algemeiner reported last week, several UNRWA employees were among the many Palestinians who openly celebrated last Tuesdays terrorist atrocity at a synagogue in Jerusalem, during which four worshippers and a police officer were brutally murdered.
UNRWA is a body devoted solely to Palestinian Arab refugees from the 1948 war as well as their descendants who, unlike the children of refugees in other conflict situations, legally inherit refugee status. A large number of its employees are themselves Palestinian and use their positions to engage in political activism, including the promotion of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic hatred....

And they are the ones who are investigating Israel's conduct in Gaza?

(30,109 posts)This is why the UN refuses to investigate Hamas' war crimes in this past summer's war. The UN supports Hamas' efforts. They always have.
And the Israel haters absolutely love the UN for its role in I/P and its support of terror against Israelis. I'd imagine that news of UN employees' vile activities within UNRWA faciliities will lead to Israel haters respecting the UN even more for its role in I/P.
This is what supporting the Palestinian cause truly means.
They support unrepentant terrorist Jew haters and murderers like Rasmea Odeh, so why wouldn't they support Hamas, PFLP, and Islamic Jihad against Israel?

But don't let me distract you guys from your right-wing rag howling the usual right-wing bullshit against the UN. Lord knows you got nothing else to do with yourselves.

(30,109 posts)....it's sorta important to know what's going on within taxpayer funded UNRWA facilities in general throughout Gaza and the WB. Now it's not surprising at all to find there were weapons in schools, based on the fact that incitement and support for terror and bigotry is apparently widespread among UNRWA employees in position of influence (teachers, principals, etc).
In addition, the UN's new special rapporteur to the Palestinian Territories has yet to condemn the synagogue attack.

What kind of peaceful settlement do you support when you defend what UNRWA allows within its facilities?

Yes or No?
You've made yourself clear that u have no problem with Hamas using UNRWA facilities for rockets since the buildings were empty of inhabitants at the time.

(30,109 posts)....In recent years especially, the efforts of UNRWA have been subverted by the terror organizations that have taken over its facilities and resources. Most recently, ample evidence has accumulated during Operation Protective Edge, which started on July 8, 2014, documenting Hamas de facto takeover of UNRWA institutions in the Gaza Strip.

(30,109 posts)The pro-Hamas bloc won an overwhelming victory in elections for workers' unions at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Gaza on Monday. The process was monitored by UN officials.
Although the UN has tried to curb Hamas's influence among its employees, claimed Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, the Islamists won 25 of 27 seats up for grabs. More than 10,000 UN staffers took part in the vote.
In 2011, the UNRWA management sacked Sohail al-Hindi, who headed the winning bloc, for his popular activities connected to Hamas. He was reinstated after protests, including strike action, by unions at UNRWA.
Al-Hindi said that his new term of office will be to the advantage of UNRWA's work and its employees in the Gaza Strip. He promised to respect the guidelines of the international agency, which is dedicated to provide vital services for Palestinian refugees....
