The Rise And Fall Of Palestine’s Socialists | Ramzy Baroud

PFLP soul-searching

Ramzy Baroud
-- World News Trust

Nov. 26, 2014

When news reports alleged that the two cousins behind the Jerusalem synagogue attack on Nov. 18 were affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a level of confusion reigned. Why the PFLP? Why now?

The attack killed five Israelis and wounded others. It was, to a degree, an expected addition to a violent episode caused by police-sanctioned right-wing violence and abuse targeting the Palestinian population of the illegally occupied East Jerusalem. Much of the violence targeting Palestinians is systematic, involving severe restrictions on Palestinian movement, targeting houses of worship, and nightly attacks by Jewish mobs assailing Arabs, or anyone who may be suspected of being one. It also included the hanging, lynching and burning alive of Jerusalem Arab residents.

Palestinians responded in kind. But most of their violent responses seemed to be confined to individual acts, compelled by despair, perhaps, but certainly removed from the organized nature of armed-resistance.

Then, Ghassa and Odai Abu Jamal attacked the synagogue. The initial assumption was that the attack was also the work of individuals, before reports began linking them to the PFLP.

from what I've read a good number of Palestinians still think Yusuf Hassan al-Ramouni was murdered despite Israel claims that it was suicide by hanging and lynchings I've seen that term applied quite loosely to any number of a abuses so yes that stands

And the perpetrators were arrested.

There were no lynchings and no hangings.

4. Nice whitewashing of a horrendous terror attack by the author, Baroud.

I'm tired of all this support and defense of terror against innocent civilians as merely "self-defense" or "fighting back".

But such is the anti-Zionist, pro-BDS cause.

A racist, hateful pro-terror camp.

Of course, we won't see anyone from that camp denouncing the likes of Baroud or others within the movement spewing the same pro-terror nonsense.

The massacre of 5 Jews praying in synagogue and a Druze Policeman by 2 savages.

And the same as whitewashing Hamas or ISIS as resistance groups.

They don't even try hide their intention.

The pigs head in the kosher butcher was not because of the occupation or even Israel's role in Climate Change or that Israel is responsible for stimulation of tsunamis.
