http://www.maannews.net/eng/ViewDetails.aspx?ID=747759BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Fatah central committee member Mohammad Shtayyeh said Tuesday that Palestine and France were coordinating and putting final touches on a UN resolution to end the Israeli occupation.
Shtayyeh told Ma'an that the Palestinian and French missions to the UN were finalizing the resolution, which was set to be presented on Wednesday to the UN security council.
Speaking to reporters in Beit Jala, the official said that "the United States does not want a Palestinian state, and does not want to use the veto either. It is avoiding it by preventing us from collecting nine votes."

I suppose peace isn't the objective anymore.
Without negotiations, the Palestinians get the WB and therefore have no reason to make peace. They'll just step up their efforts against Israel. Everyone knows this. And if Israel leaves the W.Bank, it won't be long before Hamas takes over and starts attacking Israelis in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Obviously this is preferred over a peaceful resolution by those advocating for it.
"End the occupation at all costs, even if that means a major war breaks out. It'll be worth it..."
