American teen beaten by Israeli police is cleared of wrongdoing

http://972mag.com/american-teen-beaten-by-israeli-police-is-cleared-of-wrongdoing/101988/

The cousin of Muhammad Abu Khdeir’s videotaped beating by Israeli police in Jerusalem led to widespread outrage. He had been arrested and accused of participating in riots.

Palestinian-American 15-year-old Tariq Abu Khdeir, whose severe beating by Israeli police while he was in custody last summer was caught on video, has been cleared of all wrongdoing in Israel, the Jerusalem Post reported on Wednesday.

Following his beating, the American citizen was arrested and held under house arrest for nearly two weeks before being permitted to return home to Florida.

The incident took place after Tariq’s cousin, 16-year-old Muhammad Abu Khdeir, was burned alive and murdered by Jewish extremists in a Jerusalem-area forest. Protests and heavy clashes took place in East Jerusalem after Muhammad’s murder.

Why are we even talking about a fifteen year old boy being beaten to a pulp and imprisoned for the crime of being related to another little boy who was treated to the Zionist verion of barbeque? Don't we know that a game about Miley Cyrus' butt totally wipes all that away?

11. He wasn't imprisoned. And the officer who beat him has been indicted.

Which is more than what appears to happen when people of the wrong ethnicity are beaten up by cops here in the USA.

I am glad that he will be able to return to Israel for the wedding.

Also grateful that the officer who conducted the beating was indicted for his crime.

The worst that will probably happen to them is that they will have to go to a mental hospital until they feel better then they will be released.
Israeli justice.

Unlike the 100s of Palestinian convicted murderers released from prison in the Gilad Shalit exchange.

Step one) be born and raised into hate and violence.
Step two) Plot and prepare for the intentional murder of a child.
Step three) bring some of your people's children into the plot, so they can learn how.
Step four) incinerate a living boy as he screams and cries
Step five) claim that it's not your fault, the devil made you do it.

You've shown me this. You call yourself a liberal Zionist. Yet you believe that frag grenades are a morally acceptable solution to a hostage situation. Your argument for this, of course amounts to "the devil made me do it."

If a person like you is the "liberal" in the bunch, then what does that make the rest of them?

Where does your link to my post imply any such thing?

You're making prejudiced inferences about all Zionists based on bullshit you make up about one person who doesn't see things your way about I/P?

Are you alright?

He's a thug and a criminal.

Israeli culture has produced many many wonderful, kind, and thoughtful people who are the real paragons of the culture.

14. I say he's a paragon of Israeli culture. You say he's a thug and criminal. We're not arguing.

One can of course find cultured persons within those borders... but they're like sand castles against the tide. No matter how beautifully sculpted, how carefully arranged, now deep and lovely they are... they get washed out by the pounding surf.

Israel is one of those places where culture goes to die. it's a lot like the Jim Crow south, that way. You cannot have culture in a society where might makes right. Where "ends justify the means" is the cornerstone of philosophical thought. Where race and nationalism are the highest order of society. Where ethics is dependent on ethnicity. These sorts of values are corrosive to all forms of culture.

Do you really think that is the worst that will happen to these criminals?

What precedence are you basing that on?
