Didn't mean to offend anyone, this was a joke routine.........and ONLY a joke routine........I've taken it down so as not to irk anymore people who think that it was any more homophobic than the original Ernest Borgnine post on the thread.

Joe Rogan was doing a comedy routine, and people take it seriously........while Mr. Borgnine (R.I.P.) makes homophobic rants using John Wayne as his stand in and people think he's joking. Mr. Borgnine almost lost out on his SAG lifetime achievement award becausee of the LGBT community's reaction to this statement that he made.

In all seriousness, the OP needs to be banned from the LGBT forum.

There is a big difference in the OP and what you posted. I'm not going to give a lecture here, but I will say this, what you posted will not be tolerated in any way, shape or form.

An admitted homophobe republican that joked about Cary Grant hanging with his "boys" around movie sets and joined up with Tony Curtis to actively campaign (and succeeded by the way) in denying Brokeback Mountain (which he admits to never seeing) the best picture Oscar.

or

A libertarian comedian who, while living in San Fransisco, spent his youth getting stoned with his gay neighbors, swears off using the "f" word (f##@@t) and prefaced a joke routine about Brokeback Mountain (which he admits to seeing at least twice) by professing his admiration for the gay community.

But the story of Ernest Borgnine and Brokeback Mountain is a lot more than just that little video snippet. I just wish that people would quit attacking me for pointing it out.

It was really funny when Jake Gyllenhaal's character got his head bashed in and was murdered for being gay.

Two guys loving each other is "funny". Gay sex is to be pointed at and laughed at by some "libertarian" dick-head.

You are way out of line for posting that shit here AND doubling down by defending it here. And if you think that routine was "professing admiration for their gay community" you have a fucked up idea of what "admiration" is.

Here's a clue: Pointing and laughing at how some people express their sexuality is not support.

I think it's time for you to go.

I've tried to get this OP taken down, I've tried to get this talkback locked. And for this I get "I think it's time for you to go"......thanks for the tolerance.

And by the way.........the comedian is making jokes, he did not ever mention the horrible ending of the movie.......You did

I posted a comedy routine by a comedian in response to a homophobic statement made by an actor. I took the comedy routine down.........and yet the actor's statement is still up.

"And by the way.........the comedian is making jokes"

"this was a joke routine.........and ONLY a joke routine"

"swears off using the "f" word"

The OP posted the Borgnine video to point out the guy was a homophobe so people would remember that when considering lamenting his passing.

You posted the dick-head's homophobic "joke" routine on how gay people should be laughed at for who they are... so people... wait. Why did you post that again? Why did you defend him?
