But so many of the responses in that thread seemed to say.."How DARE you speculate that this man might have had a dirty little secret" Noone came out and said that however the overwrought outrage suggested it. At least to me.

.... is intrinsically a "bad" thing. No matter what they *say* they feel, that's what they really feel.

Not a good thing... or even a neutral thing; just something bad/embarrassing/shameful/undesirable..... take your pick.


That being the case, it's hard for them to to see dsc's inquiry as anything but threatening to them and insulting to Ambassador Stevens.

The subject line was perhaps not worded in the best way. I was a little creeped by it until I read the post (and saw who the author was).

That thread brought out the typical DU homophobes/closet bisexuals. Can't even be bothered to wade in, but glad he held up.

It is sad that many DUers seem to equate being gay with slander.
