http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=1352929
REASON FOR ALERT:
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate. (See <a href="http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=aboutus#communitystandards" target="_blank">Community Standards</a>.)
YOUR COMMENTS:
Clearly homophobia..."further an agenda"...where are we Free Republic? Go for it you "progressives"
JURY RESULTS
A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Sun Sep 16, 2012, 02:59 AM, and voted 2-4 to LEAVE IT ALONE.
Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT and said: Agreed. Homophobia. Not OK.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: I don't see the homophobia here.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: The "agenda" is about making him a hero symbolic of a group - that doesn't equate to being a homophobe. It's going to get the point that you can't have an opposing viewpoint with someone on an LGBT issue without being labeled as such if this is considered a homophobic comment

(8,170 posts)A person's sexuality has no bearing on their professional life so why raise it?
Using the word "agenda" does not always mean "the Gay agenda" and in this case I read it as complaining about the OP's personal agenda.
Stop seeing prejudice where there is none; your best response would have been to have quietly pointed out, in thread or by PM, that the word could be misunderstood. It was not worthy of an alert as the jury quite rightly found.

(8,462 posts), out of respect for HIS wishes of course, is typical of the lingering homophobia at the heart of many heterosexual progressives/liberals.
Out of respect for HIS wishes, of course.

That's why I thought I'd spread a little love for dsc here, where the homophobes have to tread a little more lightly.

Uses the words "Personal Choice"
Unbelievable.

(45,319 posts)anti blasphmy laws internationally. That means here. That means they come to say the First Amendment needs limits, but if you ask them about religious figures who speak hate against gays, they will not respond. They want it to be illegal to criticize religion, but they want religion free to call others every name in the book, for their gods or idols or egos....
They want a law which would protect Fred Phelps from us, but not us from him.
