UPDATE: “Gay” Dog Gets A New Home

http://www.fenuxe.com/2013/02/01/update-gay-dog-gets-a-new-home/

Yesterday morning, FENUXE reported that a Tennessee man caught his dog “hunched over” another male dog, sparking enough rage in him to toss the pooch into a (high kill) shelter, never to return.

Fortunately for Elton, the American bulldog mix, someone caught wind of the story via Facebook and rescued him from his euthanasia appointment.

Stephanie Fryns is the hero to thank. A quick peek at her Facebook page tells us she’s a 39-year-old animal lover who posts a good bit about unwanted dogs who need adoption, and she decided to take this case into her own hands (and home).

Citing that the poor fella was only doing what was natural to him — and that it wouldn’t even matter to her if the dog was gay — she couldn’t believe he was almost the victim of fatal case of gay-dog hate.

Male dogs have intercourse with female dogs that are in heat. Everything else is dominance or play and not sexual. Often one dog will hump another in order to illicit chase/play.

I am not sure if there are "gay" dogs. I know dogs form loving bonds with each other regardless of their gender and maybe that makes all dogs gay!

One thing is sure...that pup's owner doesn't deserve to have a dog in his life. I'm glad he found a loving home.

Own sexuality to react so. Glad for the dog. At least he is being placed in a home that will love him.

6. Odd that a gay hater names his dog after a famous gay entertainer.

I wish we could ban animal abusers, exile them to a place where the only animals around are much bigger, smarter and with lots of sharp teeth.

Could have been so much worse for that puppydoggy
