EXCLUSIVE: Watch 'Two Men in Love' From The Irrepressibles

A new release from the band's new album, 'Nude'

Composer and vocalist Jamie McDermott is the creative genius behind The Irrepressibles, what began as an art performance project in 2002 and has since turning into an incredible art-pop outfit. “Two Men in Love,” from Nude (which was released yesterday) is described as "a beautiful, intimate confession of the powerful love between two men in the face of a rejecting world." The track builds intensity with a heart beat and the lyric “when I look into your eyes, there's a danger inside” and expands into polyphonic string arrangements and Kate Bush-like choral refrains.

and should be celebrated in all of its manifestations. No one should be made to feel shame associated with love. We don't always choose those we fall in love with and we can't anticipate, before we meet them, what they will look like or where they will come from.
Love is never the problem. Jealousy, fear, social constraint and other factors that attempt to counter the power of love are the problems. The notion that one can only love one other person or that one can possess all the love in another is problematic. Love should be nurtured in ourselves and others and as the ability to love grows we should welcome new loves in our lives and relationships.
Watching the above video, by The Irrepressibles, reminds me of how vital the experience of falling in love is to being human.
