Hey Orson Scott Card, FUCK YOU!

"But homosexual 'marriage' is an act of intolerance. It is an attempt to eliminate any special preference for marriage in society—to erase the protected status of marriage in the constant balancing act between civilization and individual reproduction.
"...They are attempting to strike a death blow against the well-earned protected status of our, and every other, real marriage. They steal from me what I treasure most, and gain for themselves nothing at all. They won't be married. They'll just be playing dress-up in their parents’ clothes.
"The dark secret of homosexual society—the one that dares not speak its name—is how many homosexuals first entered into that world through a disturbing seduction or rape or molestation or abuse, and how many of them yearn to get out of the homosexual community and live normally.”

And no matter how entertaining the stories might be, I will never be able to enjoy them in the same way anymore. My only consolation in not being able to go see the movie made from one of my favorite books as a protest of the author's bigotry is; if the movie was made by Hollywood, it will suck.

kitty litter.

I am LGBT, and am an extremely happy, positive human being, I would not want to be straight for anything in the world, and Card will never even one time in his life be as happy as I am in my very worst moments.

I know this because the ugly, irrational hate he carries inside him can only mean that he is one of the most miserable human beings on the planet. He lives in a deep, dark personal hell, and I can only pity him in his horrible existence.

... but only if it's really really good.

Anything by Evelyn Waugh, for example.

OTOH, Ayn Rand simply cannot write novels worth a damn. That has nothing to do one way or the other with her screwball philosophy.

I find Orson Scott Card somewhere in between.

I liked Ender's Game as a teenager, but it's just mediocre sort of OK science fiction.

You know, I can kinda understand part of these people's position:

"Marriage" is for people who want to raise children, and people who are raising children maybe should get a little help from the rest of society. I can dig that. My wife and I don't have kids and I don't mind maybe paying a little more in taxes so that people who are raising kids can have it a little easier. After all, "it takes a village" and all that.

However... I know three homosexual couples who are raising children together.
Hey Orson - do they not deserve the same benefits of the village simply because you think what they do in bed together is yucky? Because that's what it comes down to, Orson. You think they are yucky.

JUST FUCKING ADMIT IT, ORSON!!!
You think double-penis sex is yucky, and you will use whatever convoluted "logic" you need to in order to justify that...
