Women in Placerville fire died of gunshot wounds

I didn't see this posted anywhere...another possible hate crime.

PLACERVILLE, Calif. (KCRA) —The causes of death were released Monday for the two bodies found inside a fiery Placerville home last week -- and the women actually died of gunshot wounds, not in the fire, officials said.

The house burned to the ground, and initially everyone thought the lesbian couple had perished in a house fire. Then, it was revealed that they had died from gunshot wounds, not the fire. We are expecting more announcements about this today.

Could have been, and the investigation is still ongoing. But, in this small community, lots of rumors are flying...including the one that says some of the animals were shot, and people who knew these women say they were intense animal lovers and would never have done that. We'll just have to see as the details unfold...
