Sixth Circuit Court Of Appeals Will Hear Same-Sex Marriage Cases From Four States August 6by Jean Ann Esselink
on June 18, 2014
The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati has consolidated five same-sex marriage cases from four different states. The court has scheduled arguments in cases from Michigan, Tennessee, Kentucky, and 6th Circuittwo cases from Ohio, August 6, in front of a three-judge panel.

Ohios attorney general has said the states voters have decided in 2004 that marriage is between a man and a woman and that hell continue to defend the ban.

(14,732 posts)1. Sixth Circuit is highly conservative. I don't expect a
good result from this. In any event, it is going to wind up with the Supremes.

But frankly, I don't trust this SC, either.
