I'm being honest, all those stereotypes. 2 things happened.
I worked with a couple of guys. I liked them both. Me (being stupid) didn't realize they were a couple.
The second thing, and maybe more important, another guy at the same job I didn't like. It had nothing to do with him being gay, our personalities didn't mesh.

(725 posts)They may not know it, but since the likelihood is that most people have more than 40 friends and acquaintances, the likelihood is high that one or more of those persons is a gay person.
Then there's also a likelihood that almost all gay people are "friendly". That might even increase the odds of being "friends" with a gay person. Few if any gay people are naturally hostile to most people who are not gay.
We are everywhere, and we want your friendship and support.
