Does anyone here know what causes heterosexuality? And is there a cure?

Asking on behalf of a good friend who is concerned, not bigoted. Just ... he doesn't want his kids to grow up that way, if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance!

2. Isn't there research being preformed for genetic marker (DNA) tests for homo/hetero sexuality?

I assume that once this is up and running, you could either genetically 'assign' sexuality (maybe need some more advancement in medicine first) or simply abort a child/fetus with the 'wrong' sexuality till you get one you like.

when I looked at the rest of my life spent alone because straight men outside France are uninterested in women of a certain age.

Alas, it's nothing we can control and I was stuck with the cultural fallout of being an older single woman, a frozen asset, withering on the vine instead of harnessed to a husband who spends his waking hours surfing porn or cruising college bars to recapture his own lost youth since I was a reminder of impending mortality, or of his mother, or something unpleasant.

I'm delighted I didn't leave children to grow up like this.

If you'd been straight, we here would have likely never have enjoyed your contributions and thoughts.

"Heterosexuality" is actually a secondary infection related to the primary disease of patriarchy.

Cure the patriarchy and not only will exclusive heterosexuality become fairly rare, it'll be far more benign in its effects.

Unfortunately, curing patriarchy ain't gonna be easy.

regretfully,
Bright

10. I wonder if straightness is heredetary? or is it environmental

I mean, if we stop straights from reproducing then if it's genetic we'll have fewer straight babies. And let's get on board with stopping hetero adoption. Can you imagine a child growing up in THAT environment? The things they'd see and think "oh that's normal"---what's next? marrying the hedgehog?

sickening lifestyle.

"he caused it in you, you were perfectly OK until he made you queer." Well, I guess that settles it, it's definitely a virus! LOL!

Therefore, I propose heterosexuals have the same problem, a heterosexual viral infection!
