LGBTers and St. Patrick's Day Parades

Here's a thought...

If privately funded groups want to hold a St. Patrick's Day parade and EXCLUDE LGBTers from participating equally, then let them have it on their private land and not on our publicly funded streets.

Just my two cents.

The argument goes: they can exclude anyone they wish.

That's pretty much carried the day in the court system. If one doesn't like it.... they can boycott or protest from the sidewalks.

For the record... I haven't attended a ST. P's parade since the imbeciles in NYC threw garbage at Mayor Dinkins for marching in the parade w. openly lgbt marchers deliberately included in his delegation.

- a private organization of Irish Americans. Despite the fact that St. Patrick's Day is a Roman Catholic holiday, and the parade goes past the cathedral, the Archdiocese can't stop the parade.
