Facebook finally took down this awful page about Chris Harper Mercer!

Former title:
Holy Crap! I just found this on Facebook about Chris Harper Mercer and took a screen shot:

Look under the 'About' section. "Chris Harper Mercer is such an hero. He checked Christian white cis privilege today. Bless him." I hope to every God and Goddess this is propaganda and not what this troubled person did this for! Let me be the first to say that the TG community disavows this!

3. This is important because someone has taken advantage of this violent act

and wants to make it look like it was done by a transgender. It's propaganda and needs to be shut down as fast as it starts! That's why.

12. It's in reference to the usage of the term cis in the context that this was TG's killing 'straight'

Check out posts 5 through 9 for a better description why the word 'cis' connects to the transgender community.

4. I just found another instance where this tragedy was trying to be framed in social media:

Why did 4chan try to frame one of its own for the Oregon massacre?

An experimental 4chan forum has tried and miserably failed to frame one of its own users for the mass shooting in Oregon on Thursday.

During the past 24 hours, the board /r9k/, a board inspired by an xkcd comic and which uses a script to prohibit the post of images, memes, or other text more than once, has tried to pin the murders of 10 people on a user dubbed “Eggman.”

There seems to be a lot of this trying to frame people or groups on this today. I've also seen some talking that BLM was to blame.

6. Sorry about that. I should mention that cis refers to people who don't have a gender identity crisis

I'm not sure where the term originated. A cis male is a male that has a gender identity as a male. The same with a cis female.

7. Anyone who has to go out of his way to claim cis, has some serious gender issues

It's a redundant term.

I'm male. I was born male.

So what?

It's just a fact.

It does not make me hate transgender human beings.

So if you have to hate trans to be cis, then I'm not cis.

8. I understand. It's making something that's supposed to be simple, complicated.

I believe this term was introduced into the LGBTQ world during the 90's at the Michigan Womyns Music Festival by trans-exclusive radical feminists. Their concern was that a transgender woman might attend their festival and ruin their purity. Trans-people experience discrimination from all types of people.

Very sad how things turn out anytime we start classifying people into 'us' groups and 'others' groups.

Peace
