Oklahoma House Committee Rejects Anti-LGBT Bill
The Oklahoma House Judiciary Committee voted down the discriminatory HB 2245 yesterday afternoon by a 6-5 vote. The bill – pushed by rabidly anti-LGBT state lawmaker Mike Reynolds – would have limited protections for municipal employees to only those available to state employees.
Oklahoma's non-discrimination policies do not cover sexual orientation or gender identity.
