This Is What Happens When A Woman Gets Sick Of Divorce And Mortgages. And It’s Brilliant.

Macy Miller is an architect from Idaho that had a BIG dream about a tiny house. She had always wanted a place of her own, but the thought of a mortgage sickened her after she lost her home to foreclosure after getting divorced. So, her dream revolved around building a compact, but beautiful home. For two years, Macy worked on the 196 square-foot home, dedicating her free time to building the small paradise. Finally, construction has finished on her little hideaway… and it’s hard not to be jealous of this place, no matter how small it looks on the outside. After all, it only cost about $11,000.

It actually looks bigger from the inside pictures. When I was single I could have lived very comfortably in that house.

I'm always fascinated by tiny homes. They seem like such a good idea and would force you to cut down on the "stuff" that just sort of accumulates over the years. But just like with a mobile home, I would be afraid of getting blown away by a tornado. Maybe they don't have to worry about those much in Idaho.

This woman is my heroine. She has her personal victory. And I send up a huge cheer for her. It is a lovely home. I wish her the best for a great rest of her life. Congratulations Macy Miller and Woo Hoo. You did it!!

...so don't let go, of what you know to be true...

There are many possible journeys in your life...choose the way.

A beautiful, little wooden box in which to LIVE.

By putting it on a flatbed, no fucking around with planning permission, approvals, pain in the arse neighbors. Basically a houseboat on land. Fantastic idea.
