The 8 Biggest Lies Men's Rights Activists Spread About Women

1. Feminists hate men, and are out to turn the world against them.

Misandry is too often employed as a catch-all to belittle women's arguments surrounding the patriarchy. But, as Shailene Woodley recently discovered, feminism has nothing to do with hating men. Feminists don't like misogyny and sexism, and sometimes men may be proponents of both, unwitting or otherwise. It's important to recognize this when it happens.

. . .

2. Feminists are hypocrites, because chivalry is a female privilege.

There's a popular meme that says feminists call differential treatment chivalry when we like it and sexism when we don't.

This is false. The supposed "perks" of being a lady are largely the result of "benevolent sexism," a set of behaviors shown to be harmful to both women and social activism specifically because people often fail to see them for what they really are: practices steeped in restrictive stereotypes of masculinity and femininity that hinder gender equality by keeping men in a position of dominance over women.

. . .

3. The courts are biased against men and in favor of women in custody disputes.

. . .

The 'Manosphere' is a really violent place. Many of the men there write about apocalyptic visions of subordinating women once again by bringing back traditionalism. They hate chivalry but simultaneously wish for its rebirth. Warren Farrell is their guru. If you want to know everything about their 'movement' you should get a copy of Warren Farrell's book 'The Myth of Male Power'. I don't recommend you pay for it though. I'm sure someone can find an e copy on a torrent site somewhere.

Farrell's big claim is that men are protectors of women and that women need men. He doesn't say what women need protection from, which we all know is OTHER men.

He engages in a lot of debunked evo-psych literature and if you notice his citations are absolutely horrific.

Farrell also talks about 'date fraud.' Date fraud is when a man pay for a woman's dinner and she doesn't give him sex. He says women engage in date fraud all the time.

He's an incest apologist. see Liz Library and a rape apologist.

Truly a scumbag.

I thought "hey, I'm not male, maybe they do feel hated and face their own type of prejudice. Maybe these blogs are places of support for men", but I was wrong. Sooo wrong. Every single one I've ever read was full of sexist insults against women (usually their exes). And the way they talk about rape victims is so full of hate, it makes you wonder if they've done something and they're afraid of getting caught. Then there are the ads for everything from denying money to their kids or ex-wife to tricking women into sleeping with them (without having to waste too much of their time or money, of course). And then there's the d.v. jokes...

I've seen some of the "end of the world" type of stuff, too. Guys like that basically want to have their own horde of comfort women and kill any female who refuses them, plus any other man they see as competition.

On top of all that, it's not uncommon to see homophobic/racist remarks as well. Those blogs are so full of hate and stupidity that I just cannot read them anymore.
