Katy Perry's "Part of Me" Music Video Slammed as Marines "Propaganda" by Feminist Writer

Katy Perry's "Part of Me" music video seemed pretty pro-woman to us, but feminist writer Naomi Wolf sure doesn't think so.

"Have you all seen the Katy Perry Marines video?" the author posted on her Facebook page Sunday. "It is a total piece of propaganda for the Marines…. I really want to find out if she was paid by them for making it…It is truly shameful."

Wolf even asks fans of the singer to do something drastic…

Quit buying her music!

Pop/rock/gospel singer. As annoying as Justin Bieber. Dresses like Lady Gaga sometimes.

He's kind of funny, sometimes. At least he was funny for about 15 minutes.

Actually, I'm lying. I do know who Katy Perry is, although I've probably heard one song of hers in my life, and it sucked.

I'm a little more towards the Jerry Garcia end of the spectrum than the Katy Perry side, myself.

I don't usually get rid of books either. I still have that scientology book and the Morman bible around somewhere. A few tarot card books, and few bullshit books on the Masons. (We know one of the leaders, he did a Newt Gingrich marriage wise, and worshipped Satan...) All for entertainment value really.

Read 100 pages here, read 150 pages there, read 50 pages somewhere or another. It's annoying, my brain can't sit still right now. Somehow I skipped from Female serial killers, to the wars between the British and French, to a Biography of Cancer, to Indian Reservations. (I always choose cheery subjects.)
