It was hard to watch, but it sure opened my eyes to all the women who sacrificed so much for the women of today. We should never take our right to vote for granted!

It's amazing something as seemingly simple as extending voting rights was a major pitched battle that took years to accomplish. I just looked this up and it wasn't until 1944 that women could vote in *France*.

But the violence these brave women experienced totally opened my eyes. Women died here, something that's not taught in schools. I've always voted, knew I owed our grandmothers and great grandmothers a lot, but I had no idea how much. Everyone needs to see this film, especially women...

If anyone hasn't seen it, this link has the film in sections: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB5649EB5E8B778C4&feature=plcp If someone didn't feel like a feminist before they saw it, I think they really will after.
