Migraines link to plastic cups and bottles

By MARK HOWARTH

Drinking water from plastic cups or bottles could be giving millions of Britons headaches.
New research shows that a controversial ‘gender-bending’ chemical in synthetic packaging may trigger migraines.
Bisphenol A (BPA) has already been linked to a range of heath problems including obesity, infertility and heart attacks.
Now the latest study – published in the journal Toxicological Sciences – points to BPA causing the debilitating headaches which afflict one in seven UK adults.

Can you provide link/research on the absence of BPA in common plastic bottles? Sanity Claws Dec 2013 #2

They showed common plastic single use bottles but the BPA has not been used in those for a long time. It is in some multiple use water bottles.

So it was presented poorly and offered little concrete information about where BPA is truly a danger, such as store receipts.

I did some research and it seems that BPA is still used in common plastic bottles. In 2010, it was removed from baby bottles and sippy cups but I couldn't find anything about BPA not being used in single use plastic bottles for a long time
My source: Wikipedia. I know it is not the greatest source but at least it is a source.
It also coincided with what I understood.

and they'll list the products. If you look at the particular numbers for plastic bottles you'll see that they are #7 #8 etc. I've never seen claims that they are made with BPA, it's the harder plastic that is -- if you find differently I'd like to know since I do use those now and then.

I quit eating food from cans. That's probably the worst source.
