Tonight (Tues 3/11) "Weed 2"

Dr. Gupta is doing a great service by bringing the benefits of medicinal cannabis to light over a wider audience. I don't really care for the title of the show but it is the content that matters. Tell a friend, watch, watch online, and/or set the DVR for later viewing. If it is anything like his first show "Weed" you'll be in for an eye opening and thought provoking experience.

Even stayed up past my bedtime.

One thing is very clear and that is that the Anti-Cannabis Contingent is well established with one primary objective: Make medical marijuana the rarest commodity ever.

Whoever is in charge of Healthcare in the USA (and I presume that to be the pharmaceutical industry) is actively blocking, not only research into MMJ but access to known treatments for desperately ill children. Gov Chris Christie is highlighted as being particularly objectionable for rolling back progressive access laws passed by his democratic predecessor and establishing a ban on edible MMJ. I think he's since relinquished on the "edibles"...

And though I never thought I'd say this, good on ol' Sanjay...he's out there on the front lines with this.
