Publicity works: my aunt survived a heart attack

This was a very annoying weekend-plus. (personal rant off)

She works as a hairdresser/stylist. One of her clients, a few years back, gave her information on how heart attacks might present in women.

So when she had arm pain and central nervous symptoms (including vomiting), she got her afraid-of-the-dark husband to drive from the obscure cul-de-sac to the heart hospital 5 miles away.

((You might say "why not call 911?" BUT the odds of the twisty road derailing the ambulance (if not already on an Interstate call) were Not zero. And FINDING the cul-de-sac?))

Results: blocked artery treated (I presume with a stent) and released five days later.

I couldn't get to the hospital because by the time I was notified, company was traveling to spend time with me.

All may be well if it ends well.

((Women NEED to know how a heart attack may show up in them.))

Since most studies have been done with male subjects, symptoms for females could present much differently, but we don't necessarily know.
