adjust it yourself? Never heard of ph water. Makes sense though. Acidic things cause inflammation.

It prefers a more acidic environment, so maintaining a higher alkaline system might be helpful as a preventative.

It's also said that turmeric, as an anti inflammatory, has the same benefit.

That could be what some refer to as 'whoo' but I've never heard a down side to that water or to turmeric.

There are some who think high alkaline water helps with acid reflux and may be beneficial in other areas, but The Mayo Clinic says there is no scientific evidence to validate these claims.

Your body's natural pH is between 7.1 and 7.6 (7 is neutral). Your body does hell of a job maintaing that level. If for some reason if your pH is above or below this band, go see a doctor.

professionals who recommend it. The problem is if you drink "good" water but then if you have a beer and pizza that throws your alkaline level off into the acidic level. Turmeric is a good anti-inflammatory to help prevent/fight cancer, but I have yet to see any anti-inflammatory benefit of it with arthritic issues. It's very hard to get the body into the optimal alkaline range and keep it there so I recommend buying pH test strips and monitor as you desire. For example, have your beer and pizza and then drink enough good water to restore your alkaline range.

Which are around a pH of 1-2. IOW, any health effects it may supposedly have will have to occur in the 5 seconds after it goes in your mouth.

Anyone who thinks alkaline water does anything for your body has no idea how the human body works.
