Someone posted earlier about a problem getting the bivalent booster

The person had made an appointment with a pharmacy to get the booster but when they got there, the pharmacist said the person couldn't get the shot.

I just verified this with Kaiser. They're all set to give boosters, but they're waiting for the CDC to approve it. The CDC is supposed to decide tomorrow, so check back then or in a few days.

The person who processed our completed forms asked us to take a seat while the pharmacist did some further checking. After a 15-20 minute wait, we both got our second bivalent boosters.

There's obviously some screwed up communication going on. I'm going back to Kaiser's website to see if it's been updated. If not today, maybe tomorrow.

I'd believe Kaiser screwed up except other people are getting the same answer.
