The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon on AMC+

Last edited Tue Sep 12, 2023, 07:10 PM - Edit history (1)

I rather enjoyed the first installment of this new WD segment. Liked it better than the Maggie/Negan series.

Anyone else watch?

Edited to correct silly misspelling which put Maggie with a star trek character.

If you haven't seen it yet you'll get a kick out of the new variant of Walker in France. Tom Yossarian Joad Sep 2023 #4

I only made it through two episodes. Way too dark in its cinematography such that I could scarcely tell who was who or what was going on. I really like Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but meh. I quit.

Frankly, I think I'm pretty burned out on WD but I probably will check out the Daryl Dixon one next time I do a short-term AMC+ subscription.

I'm obsessed with everything Walking Dead and have been since I first saw the trailers in 2010! The first episode sealed the deal. I was hooked. The whole first season was brilliant, scary, thought provoking and mesmerizing.

So, the Negan and Maggie ahow is very promising, but I can't wait to see the DD episodes in France. I'd love to finally know the origin of the virus/bacteria/fungus (?) that caused the plague.

I liked the early walkers like Morgan's wife who sort of had a mind and the little girl with the stuffed animal. And now the ones that climb? Freaky.
