Season 6 of The Crown

I don't know if this just came out this week, but I binge-watched it last night. Its all Diana and Dodi. There's quite a bit of speculation about what was happening between them (that he was about to propose to her) and not much about the accident. The person who comes out of it looking like a villain is Dodi's father.

Somewhat hard to watch knowing what is coming. The death of Diana hit me hard. If only she had worn a seatbelt she’d be alive today. If she had lived I do believe she would have moved to the USA and would have accomplished many wonderful things.

In general, we liked the earlier seasons (Claire Foy as the young queen) because it was interesting for us to learn about how her early years went. We didn't care for all of the Diana and William focus, and poor Harry! Not very nice about Charles and Camilla either.

But....it is a bit of a relief it is done. Imelda Staunton is a marvelous actress!
