Watched "The Creator" on Hulu last night

If you like sci-fi and haven't seen this film I highly recommend you don't miss it! The storytelling is a little uneven but incredibly compelling. The acting is quite good. It stars JD Washington (Denzel's son), Gemma Chan, and Ken Watanabe (wonderful in this film). The little girl who plays the main AI is phenomenal. She was only 7 when she filmed this.

At times it was hard to follow the movie.

We don't watch any movies without CC anymore. Just can't hear the dialog.

I turn it off for news (the chirons interfere), or other 'live' shows. But for movies, definitely better with subtitles. (I have found you miss a lot of off-camera voices, etc.)

I can't follow the dialog at all otherwise. Read an article about this a while back that said it's totally not a hearing issue but a film sound issue.

I'm a huge sci-fi fan, and have not been able to find much recently.

I did like "Murder at the End of the World" - I had to be talked into giving it a try. I don't generally like murder as a topic. I'm more of a sci-fi fan. And there is some of that in this well done mini-series. Great acting, good story and writing.
