McNair (Chadwick Boseman) wake up in an eerily desolate town and soon find that a mysterious force thwarts their every attempt to escape. As they receive cryptic messages from remote-controlled television sets and new strangers start to arrive, doubt and distrust undermine their plans to flee the bizarre prison.

Honestly, I'm not sure how this one made it past the pilot, which was really weak. But if you can hang in for a couple of episodes, it gets better as the mostly unknown actors settle into their roles. It still suffered from weak direction, but the premise was enough to keep me watching the entire first season.

It might be a nice change of pace from the British mysteries I've been streaming lately.
