Did anyone take on Gypsy on Netflix?

I heard about it from someone on the radio. It's a psychological thriller/drama kind of thing and was described as being a slow burn. From Imdb: Therapist Jean Holloway becomes too immersed in the lives of her patients.

I watched Season 1 and it became very clear they had a Season 2 in mind when they finished. But it was canceled due to mixed reviews.

Anyone else watch it? What did you think?

I also very much dislike that guy who plays her husband - he is a terrible actor and it really shows when he is paired with the extremely talented Ms. Watts.

I couldn't place him when I first started watching so I had to look him up. I'm not too familiar with much of what he's done but he reminded me of Ty Burrell (but in a not funny way.) I agree he was wrong for the part.

I thought the storyline of the daughter was interesting.
