This is a "bookended" season, with the middle part being based on developing the characters you will follow through the rest of the series on the journey to Mars and initial colonization. It's not meant to be an action-based show, so sorry if you were looking for that. If you like sci-fi with characters you can get to know and care about, then this might be a great show for you. The other "bookend," the season finale, should match up with the premiere in terms of action and intensity.

I like it. My daughter likes it. My husband likes it. I'm hoping it gets a season 2 so we can see where it goes from here.

moving TOO slowly. Bring on the science! Space! And what's with the cajun weirdo devil-narrator that's not been explained yet (as of episide 4, anyway)? Is this show sci-fi, drama, criminal or supernatural? I find myself enduring each episode, not absorbed by it....
