I avoided it cause it looked so generic, but on the recommendation of your post, I watched it last night cause why not...

I’ll concede ok acting, excluding the outlier of the HORRIBLE Scottish accent on that other guy. But smart? No way.

Lazy script, way too many handy coincidences, absurd premise...seriously basic, Hallmark Channel drivel.

I've seen a lot of crappy movies lately, so it was a refreshing change. I did mention in my review that it was predictable and formulaic. Sometimes you need something like that. And I did only give it 3.5 stars.

Loved his family of US friends. Some funny lines there.

Thought acting good except maybe for the main character Louise?

Watched it just because I read your review. Perfect for a quiet calm afternoon!
