Alcohol in recipes**trigger warning maybe**

So I don't use alcohol in cooking, surprise!. In googling for cold summer soups today, I found one for cold cream of beer soup, the author described it as the stuff dreams are made of; all the reviews universally described it as terrible half a star to one star. I did laugh out loud.
