Has anyone seen the TV show "Loudermilk?"

It's a comedy (somewhat dark) about a guy who leads AA/NA type meetings. He's a real smarts and kind of a dick. I'm half way through the first season and I highly recommend it. It's on Netflix.

The first time I saw him hiding a martini, it really took me by surprise.

Her brother is as snarky as the lead character, and he loves that comedian. I tried watching it, and it bugged me too much because I'm in AA and the culture is nothing like what is portrayed. If the writers really knew anything about 12 step groups, they could add a lot of inside humor.

I got the sense that it's a hybrid between AA, SMART, and other programs. That's one of the things I liked about the show.
